JESS takes its name from Jessica, the Shakespeare figure long associated with independence, wit and the courage to choose one’s own direction. Within the Mamoa collection, it reads as a contemporary take on feminine confidence: graceful, self-assured and quietly expressive, in flowing lines and sculpted timber legs.
design concept and inspiration
Backrest and seat in a single line
The JESS Dining Chair has a clean, continuous silhouette, backrest and seat meeting in one controlled gesture. The tall, curved back rises high, while the open lower section brings lightness and a distinct visual rhythm. The legs bend softly outwards, giving the chair movement while keeping its balance. Compact yet comfortable, JESS offers refinement without excess.
Made for residential dining and restaurant interiors, JESS lets designers build coherent seating around a table. On its own, it holds a calm, distinct identity – a silhouette that draws attention through balance.
