PIETRA DINING TABLE

The Essence of PIETRA

Marble treated like the facets of a gemstone

PIETRA takes its name from the Italian for “stone” – solidity, permanence, the raw character of mineral surfaces. The dining table takes that literally, at the scale of a shared meal: slabs of marble cut like the facets of a gemstone, framed and lifted by a brass structure. It treats stone as a living material, veined and unpredictable, cut into a contemporary geometric composition.

design concept and inspiration

A hexagonal top, divided by lines of brass

PIETRA Dining Table takes the faceted language of the centre table to a larger, more architectural plane. The top is composed of cut marble segments in a geometric pattern, with thin brass inlays tracing the lines between them – stone treated as an inlaid composition, not a single slab. Depending on the stones chosen, the surface can run from strong contrast, dark against light, to a more tonal drawing, but the logic holds. The outer edge keeps a faceted outline, away from the usual rectangle or circle, and the brass base picks up the same angular geometry, its legs placed to keep the under-table open for seating.

Made for residential dining rooms and hospitality settings, PIETRA Dining Table works as the main anchor of a space. Its graphic top turns a meal into something framed by colour, texture and reflection. Under a statement light or against a plain backdrop, it holds its own; with simpler chairs and quiet textiles, it becomes the room’s main note.
