SUR LE BOIS, developed with Conceitos de Arte, treats timber as the surface on which interior life unfolds. This console brings that to a slim, elongated piece for passages and thresholds: a quiet, warm line of wood along the wall, topped in stone, ready to receive light, objects and daily gestures.
design concept and inspiration
A long open frame in walnut, with a stone top and a lower shelf
A long, open frame in solid walnut, with a generous top in Thassos marble and a floating lower shelf for display. The slender, softly rounded legs and the continuous grain give the piece a lightness, so it reads as a single carved element rather than an assembly of parts.
Designed for entrance halls, corridors and living rooms, the SUR LE BOIS Console works as a linear anchor that sets the tone of a room. Its two surfaces and open structure make it both a practical support and a quiet stage for artworks or personal objects.
