Named after aviator Amelia Earhart, EARHART explores the space between grounding and flight. Natural walnut, Calacatta Viola marble and brass come together in a composition that balances the weight of the material with a sense of movement and suspension. TERRAE is the more grounded expression of the family – earth, matter, origin.
design concept and inspiration
Grounded in material
EARHART TERRAE begins with the materials themselves. Calacatta Viola marble brings the strength and individuality of natural stone; walnut adds warmth and continuity; a slender brass element introduces a subtle reflection of light.
Its elongated proportions and visually light tabletop suggest the profile of a wing through balance and movement. At the lower height of the EARHART family, TERRAE remains closer to the earth: grounded in material, while already looking towards the horizon.
