SIDE TABLE
EARHART
The Essence of EARHART
From earth to horizon
Named after aviator Amelia Earhart, EARHART explores the space between grounding and flight. Natural walnut, Calacatta Viola marble and brass come together in a composition that balances the weight of the material with a sense of movement and suspension. It takes shape in two side tables: TERRAE, the grounded expression of earth, matter and origin, and AERIS, its lighter, taller counterpart of air and flight.
design concept and inspiration
Two heights, one horizon
Both tables begin with the materials themselves. Calacatta Viola marble brings the strength and individuality of natural stone; walnut adds warmth and continuity; a slender brass element catches the light.
Their elongated proportions and visually light tabletops suggest the profile of a wing through balance, movement and suspension. Placed side by side, the difference in height becomes part of the design: TERRAE stays closer to the earth, AERIS rises above it, and together they draw a line towards the horizon.
