design concept and inspiration
A silhouette that keeps sightlines open
The design features a solid wooden frame, a generous seat, and a rounded backrest that creates a gentle “cocoon” effect. This compact volume ensures sightlines remain open, while the ash wood legs with a high-gloss Pau Ferro veneer emphasise the richness of the grain. Refined brass details at the feet act as discreet jewellery, grounding the piece with a composed character that feels both sophisticated and approachable.
In its balance of softness and structure, MARYANNE mirrors a stance that is both clear and deeply rooted in everyday experience. Whether as a standalone accent or in pairs, it introduces an approachable elegance to any curated interior.
