The CARLOTTA Bar Chair draws on the poise of Romantic ballet, and on the dancer Carlotta Grisi. A slender, tall silhouette that lifts the daily ritual – a seat for the quiet moments of a day, from the first morning coffee to evening drinks.
design concept and inspiration
A composed rhythm at the counter
Built around a compact upholstered shell, CARLOTTA is a continuous volume that cradles the sitter, holding an upright yet relaxed posture. The pleated backrest and clean seams read like a tailored bodice, while the slim legs reach the floor with the line of a dancer en pointe. A metallic footrest runs across the front, an echo of a ballet barre.
With its dressed, evening quality, CARLOTTA brings a composed rhythm to residential and hospitality interiors. It sets the bar as a place for company and for quieter pauses, upright and graceful, close to its namesake.
